We came here again 8 years after we first visited when we returned to Venice. We had very good memories of our first trip: the food was simple and exceptionally tasty and the atmosphere was perfect.
This trip didn't disappoint: the pasta and prosciutto were as delicious as last time. The home-made gnocchi was unbelievable. -

Background - Our hotel gave us a coupon and we checked the menu out a day earlier. Of course I never used the coupon as it remained in my back pocket.
Atmosphere - Another meal in which we sat outside, so I can not tell you much other than the weather was lovely. They do have indoor dining.
Food
Drink - Moretti's Baffo D'Oro.
Dinner - I had the gnocchi with red sauce. Little pillows are the best way to describe this meal. I could have eaten another bowl after finishing mine.
Service - Our waiter was good, his English was not perfect but his smile and laughter made everything better.

This place was one of the best in the area where we were staying.
We walked by earlier in the day and knew this is what we wanted to dinner.
We arrived at 6:20pm but did not realize they reopen for dinner at 7pm so we found a waiter and put our reservations in for 7pm.
We wandered until 6:55pm and once we returned they had our table reserved with our name on it.
The menu is moderately priced and we stuck with "still water" (5€) and did not order any wine.
It was four of us and everyone was so happy with their meal choices we wanted to order more for take away.
You won't be disappointed when you eat here.
Take note that there is a 3€ per person charge
And a 12% service charge as well.
Overall our bill was 102€ which equaled to about $31 per person in US Monday
I even heard people near me at other tables say they always have dinner here when they come to Venice. -

**This review is based on a tour meal
Had a seafood based meal here. A plate of assorted seafood for an appetizer. Then a seafood risotto, then 3 shrimp (it was either crawfish or langoustine...it had claws).
It was all quite mediocre. The risotto was good but the shrimp barely had any meat in them. There was also shrimp in all three parts of the meal..which seemed a bit over. -

Highly suggest getting the house wine, this is sulfate free and just as good as much more expensive bottles. Food was good and very hot. Location was romantic directly on a secluded canal but off the beaten path. Tables were very close together but all friendly and a great overall experience.
